By conducting research on the global societal challenges related to energy, information and bioeconomy, we contribute to the welfare of humankind and responsible action with respect to the Earth.
The Institute of Bio- and Geosciences 2 (IBG-2) is focused on plant sciences and technology development, especially non-invasive plant phenotyping methods for basic and applied research, to contribute to sustainable intensification of plant production towards a knowledge-based bioeconomy.
