I am driven by a strong interest for the triple interface between Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with expertise in Systems Chemistry, Supramolecular Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Thermokinetics. We recently developed protocols for multiplexed fluorescence bioimaging, which exploit the dynamics of the photoreactions of the fluorophores; we are now willing to challenge them for interrogating the physiological state of photosynthetic organisms within the DREAM EIC Pathfinder Open project.

I am a physicist trained in solid-state physics with a strong emphasis on mathematics. I have been actively developing methods and instruments for photosynthesis research. Non-linear phenomena appearing in the responses of plants to harmonically modulated light have been the focus of my research since the early 2000s.
